LISA ULSHAFER has always had a passion for understanding human behavior and the power of the spirit. In 1996, she graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelors degree in Psychology. She founded her company Empowered Living after becoming certified as a Transformational Life Coach® in 2006. She authored her book Journey with an Angel in 2015, launched her 6-week online program Roadmap to Self-Empowerment in 2016, and continues to be dedicated to helping people live an empowered life by assisting people in freeing themselves from negativity, limiting beliefs, and self-sabotaging behaviors.

Throughout her life, Lisa has immersed herself in her own transformational journey, studying a multitude of subjects including relationship dynamics, personality intelligence, inner child work, shadow and ego work, law of attraction and vibration, behavioral pattern analyzation, business, and entrepreneurialism. She’s attended over 80 seminars and retreats ranging from 3-9 days each, at least a dozen online courses, and completed seven extensive life coaching certification programs. She also hired her own coaches and mentors throughout that time.

Lisa has a natural ability to communicate and respond lovingly to others as she guides people to a place where they feel safe enough to commit to their own paths of healing and to forge ahead in their journeys. She provides the direction and support to live authentically while achieving a deeper connection with their spirits and their angels. Through her intuitive abilities and gentle presence, she gives the assistance needed to overcome life struggles while achieving more ease, harmony, meaning, and purpose in one’s life. She lives by the belief that living authentically through the embodiment of higher ground teachings is what brings us to the awakening of our true power and the realization of our greatest potential.

Lisa’s transformational path also led to the discovery of her connection to the Angelic Realm. To Lisa’s surprise, she learned that she was an incarnated angel in 2006. Not knowing what to do with that information, she kept it to herself and a handful of her closest family and friends. Six years later in the fall of 2012, this information was confirmed with much more detail and understanding when she met David Armstrong, a healer and spiritual messenger. David suggested that Lisa write a book about her experiences of being an incarnated angel and about the Angelic Realm. This is when her book, Journey with an Angel, was born.

Lisa continues to expand and share her awareness and understanding of angels and how to reconnect to these powerful and loving beings.
